Color service

Brown color and dimension

Depth, warmth and soft grow-out, from one rich shade to many.

Brown is never just brown. Jodie looks at the undertone of your skin and your natural color, then mixes a shade that suits them, warm or cool, with or without the lowlights and highlights that give it movement.

Who it suits

  • Dark blondes who want more depth

  • Brunettes who want dimension that grows out gently

  • Gray hair that needs blending, not covering up

  • Anyone growing out an old shade

What happens

A brown color visit

Quieter than a big color change, and just as planned.

  1. 01
    45 min

    Step 1: Consultation

Your natural color, your hair history and the brown you have in mind.

  2. 02
    10 min

    Step 2: Formula

Jodie mixes your shade and shows you the formula.

  3. 03
    1½–2½ h

    Step 3: Color

All-over color or woven lowlights and highlights, then time to develop.

  4. 04
    30–45 min

    Step 4: Gloss and finish

A gloss for shine, a blow-dry and a plan for the next visit.

Results vary with your starting color and your hair's history. Jodie will tell you what's realistic before she mixes anything.

The price

What sets the price

The studio's prices show when you book. These are the things they depend on.

  • Length and density

Longer or denser hair takes more product and more time.

  • One shade or several

Dimension with lowlights and highlights takes longer than all-over color.

  • Gray coverage

How much gray you have changes the formula and the time.

Before you come

What to bring

  • Photos

Browns you like, in daylight if you can.

  • Your hair history

What has been on your hair, and when it was last colored.

  • Your routine

How often you'd like to come back, so the plan fits it.

Questions about brown

Can you go darker and keep some dimension?

Yes. A deeper base with a few lowlights or highlights gives depth that grows out softly. Jodie will show you where she'd put them.

Will brown cover my gray?

Brown can blend gray or cover it, and you choose. Blending lets gray show through softly; the consultation settles which suits you.

How often will I need to come back?

It depends on your shade and your grow-out. Jodie gives you a rough schedule at the consultation and adjusts it as you go.

Plan your brown

A consultation gives you the shade, the time and the plan.
